The Watkins' Way: Recent Happenings...

We have had a lot of excitement over the past week! Last week NeNe and BPaw came to visit for a few days. It was fun to visit with them and enjoy the entertainment Wyatt provided for them. I especially got a kick out of Wyatt waking NeNe up from her nap by tickling her feet. We had a great time!

That Saturday Wyatt and I headed to Wal-Mart to get some fun craft stuff. We came home with some finger paint. This is not a good idea for a boy who does not like to get his hands dirty! Wyatt continually signed "all done" and was ready to go play with his other toys. He didn't even care too much for it with a paint brush. Aunt Carol came to visit and got a good laugh at watching Wyatt paint. Grandpa also came to visit and we enjoyed the beautiful weather playing outside.

Last Sunday was Superbowl Sunday! We enjoyed watching the game at MiMi and KPaw's while snacking on some delicious food!

This past Tuesday we went to a pharmacy school fundraiser - Cowboy Chili Cook-off. We ate chili and played Bingo! Wyatt loved meeting lots of new people! He waved at everyone and had a little chat with the Dean!

GiGi came over to visit and brought Wyatt a new tractor! He loved the tractor and loved playing with GiGi!

Friday night we headed to North Little Rock to watch a high school basketball game with MiMi and KPaw. Wyatt really likes watching basketball in the gym and on TV. Friday night's game was a great one to watch. Unfortunately, Wyatt missed out on some of the action. Not to worry, he woke up to see the end of the game!

Tonight, we went to eat with Grandpa and Aunt Kayla at Crazy Hibachi. This is one of our favorite restaurants. Wyatt clapped for our chef and watched intently as the fire spread across the table. He also threw his pacifier onto the grill....this made for a sad car ride home!
