Josh and I always love the beginning of a new year. He is very much a goal oriented person and enjoys setting new goals for himself and our family and I love the idea of a fresh start. This year we decided to begin a new family tradition by picking a scripture verse on New Year's Day to be sort of like a motto for our family throughout the year. Our verse for this year comes from the book of Philippians.
"Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ..." Philippians 1:27.
We especially want to emphasize the word "whatever" in this verse and remember to glorify God in all that we do. I am very excited about this new tradition. I look forward to the blessings 2013 has in store for our family.
