Summertime Fun!

We've hit the ground running this summer and I have loved every minute! I finished my Introductory to Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) rotation at the end of May. I was at Cabot Medical Park Pharmacy (CMPP) for two and a half weeks and absolutely loved it and the sweet ladies who work there. CMPP is an independently owned pharmacy right down the sidewalk from a family practice clinic in Cabot. I know it's only my first rotation, but I think I have found my niche. I would love to work there! Who knows, it just might happen - Debbie, the current pharmacist, said she just may be ready to give it up in 3 years so I can take over. I would jump on that opportunity! And with my last day on rotation came Wyatt's last day at Mrs. Sylvia's for the summer!

CMPP made this cake for my last day on rotation!

We signed Wyatt up for swim lessons this summer and had our first lesson this past Monday. We are supposed to go every Monday and Wednesday from 9:45-10:15 for the month of June. We missed the second lesson on Wednesday because I was sick, but Monday's lesson was a lot of fun. We sang songs that corresponded to the movements we were making in the water. Wyatt loves the water and isn't scared at all (especially if there is a ball around).

Having a great time!

Memorial Day weekend we headed down to Texarkana to visit NeNe and B-Paw. It was a great visit! We helped cut some limbs and enjoyed visiting with NeNe and B-Paw!

Watching the action from the porch!
Playing ball with NeNe and MiMi!
Giddy up horsey (aka NeNe's walking stick)
Helping K-Paw rake!
Too cute!!!
Silly boys!

Wyatt was scared of this little monkey, but loved going down the stairs to the sunroom after being told no repeatedly. Solution: put the monkey by the stairs! He didn't go down them again and the picture shows how close he would get to the monkey. Too funny! I was told Joshua was scared of this monkey too as a little boy. I asked NeNe if I could bring the monkey home...it stayed in Texarkana.

Also, this summer Wyatt learned how to ride his tractor by himself...sort of. He knows how to press the accelerator with his foot, but he doesn't quite understand how to steer just yet and often rides without even holding on to the steering wheel. We are working on this issue! This was a Christmas gift from Grandpa and up until now Wyatt hasn't been able to ride by himself. It was a workout for me to walk alongside of him bent over pressing the pedal down. I'm so happy he can do it on his own now! Funny story - when he first rode it he thought he had to press on his foot with his fingers because that is what we were doing to try to show him how to ride. Too funny!

In addition to getting all four canine teeth at once Wyatt has added several words to his vocabulary including cheese, juice, and a high pitch screech when you ask him what a kitty cat says. He's such a sweet boy and he gets smarter every day! We love him so!
